| | | Hi - new to Wädenswil from UK
Hi everyone
I'll be arriving in Wädenswil next week and will be at the LSI in Zürich for the next 3 months trying ( ) to learn German.
Wädenswil looks really nice in the photos I've found on Google, and I hope it snows at some stage when I am there!
Jo

Welcome to the forum, you'll love Zurich but I don't think you'll see much snow in the next three months unless you hit the high ground.

Hi
Thanks for the welcome!
I am being a bit optimistic but I'll be heading to the mountains as often as possible so will see plenty of snow then - but I am still hoping for some in Zürich at some stage! |

| | | Re: Hi - new to Wädenswil from UK Wädenswil, is great. Nice hills, beutifull houses, nice down town. You can rent a boat, and go fishing (or sunbathing) on the lake. Taxes are a bit high, but the Zuricher lifestyle is definately there.

Will the water be warm enough to swim in at this time of year?
It would be great if it was! |

Great! Time for suntan as there's been no chance of one here in the UK with all the rain!

It is nice to see such a cordial exchange from time to time, in the middle of fiery debates filled with its load of put-downs and insults. Civility is such a rare virtue nowadays on online forums.
