New to Birmensdorf (zurich)

Hello, I've been following this forum for a while but I finally made it over to Switzerland from California. I've settled in Birmensdorf and am looking for people to hang out with in the area and for other english forum activities. Drop me a line with any ideas. thanks, Dan

Hello, I've been following this forum for a while
If you've been reading posts, you'll know what I am going to say. In my youth the advice was always "tell your mother" or "join a Youth Club" depending on the two main problems affecting teenagers.
Here on the Forum the answer is
"look through the posts of people living in your area", "check the Social Activites and Events", if you like sport, "check the Sports Forum", if there is nothing which appeals to you "create a new event yourself" and see if you find like-minded people.
Good luck.

Hi Dan,
Is the "Sooner1" any relation to "Boomer Sooner"? Anyways, welcome
to Switzerland and the Forum! I am from Dallas.

Cheers,
HollidayG

Hey Dan,

Welcome to the neighborhood..! So what part of California do you hail from..? I grew up in "Cow Town" California (between Sac. and S.F.) but moved here 21 years ago and lovin' it..!

I am a Texas Aggie, and I really dread playing the Sooners this
year. They are good as always!!

Aha, so you are near the military camp. We are close to the supermarkets.

We've never been in the US, but if you used to be in orange county you might meet vietnamese people ...
