Hi everyone,

Just arrived in Switzerland and have been adviced to join this lovely forum so here I am.

Despite being Swedish I actually lived a few years in Switzerland as a child. I recently decided to move back here and just got a job starting 1 December. Of course I hope to get to know some people through this forum and perhaps even get some questions sorted out on the way… there seems to be a few of them and plenty to sort out J

Hi, welcome... I bumped into another English-speaking Swedish female at an englishforum social event in Zürich recently, so you can have somebody with whom you can reminisce about your homeland...

Since you're after information to help ease your arrival, then search is your best friend... as most (if not all) of your questions have been asked before... and generally answered well by somebody or a combination of people on the site. And, if you have a unique question, then there will doubtless be somebody able to answer that as well... as long as you ask it in the right section of the site!
