Hi Everyone
I am English from a town that once won the crappiest town in the UK award and I am not new to Switzerland, infact I have been here for 25 years. Quite something considering I had said I would stay here 5 years max!
I have often visited the forum (but didn't bother signing in) and have read the threads which provide really useful information, I so wish something like this had been around when I first came here.
Looking forward to being an active member of the forum.

I've been here (CH) for ages too, 14, 15? years and am now even Swiss not only British. I used to come on here a bit a while back but forgot all about it.

Crappiest Town .... that was Hull, but has now been overtaken by Bradford ... or are those crappiest cities.

Hull was awarded the title after comprehensive and reputable research for a CH4 documentary, so please no pretenders to the throne. Bolton is paradise by comparison.

Hull is a wonderful place! It's got the seaside, and a bridge, and the Beautiful South and, er, white telephone boxes.
Now Cannock, on the other hand, has nothing better than the M6 to recommend it.
As for Bolton - well, the lions are pretty, but the people are a bit strange...  |

I assume you are from Hull as that still seems to be listed as the crappest town in Britain!? The judges clearly haven't been to Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire!!
