I was just reading a magazine about how to improve the quality and length of sleep.
Dont turn your bedroom into an amusement parlour. You should not watch TV, read thrilling books that cant be put down, or take work to bed.
Know the risk of "sleeep debt". People who suffer chronic loss of sleep may develop diabetes and weight gain ( Thats a bit to harsh), not to mention concertration loss, depression, anxiety, moodiness and general clumsiness.
See tha light. You will find it easier to wake up if you expose yourself to dirct sunlight when youre stirring.
Go to bed an wake up at the regular time. The more established your sleep routines, the better sleep will come.
Sundays are an important night. This will help you to catch up from any "sleep dept" from weekend.
Reduce noise. This is a major sleep inhibitor.
Be sock savvy. They might be passion killers, but people who wear socks in bed fall asleep faster than those who dont.
If you cant sleep, get up. If you're having difficulties nodding off, its better to get up and do something rather than lying there.
Be bed savvy. Buy a comfortable mattress and quality sheets. Also swap sides with your partner sometimes( that helped my husband)
I dont know how serious it is, but give it a try
