Iam so happy to come across this english forum, iam 22 year old woman living in basel but at the moment iam abroad for my studies , i have been living in Basel since 2001 , but iam always out for long times due to my studies and thats makes it difficult for me to find some friends but iam going to graduate in 2008 and start my full life in basel so i would like to make some friends with different people.My hobbies are going to movies , getting together , cooking , and so many more, I will be in Basel from next month till july so hope to find something interesting

Just new to the forum! Thought i would start saying hi!! I am 20 years old from Ireland.
I also graduate in 2008 and have a possibility then for an internship here in switzerland. I am here in basel quite a lot as my boyfriend lives here.

I am here this summer from june 07 while my boyfriend finishes his year in college. Was trying to find a job to occupy my time but thats proving a problem as my german isn't too good!
So where are you from? what brings you to basel?

Well as i said iam now in india for my university studies but i will be in basel in three week from now till july then that is great may be we can meet some times when you come to basel in june which kind of intership did you try to apply ? may be we can try to find something or bring some ideas!!!!!!

Hey guys
I am studying a degree (and will possibly do my M.A) in textile design. I am interested in interiors and fashion design, but concerning a job for this year: I don't mind what i do. I have searched for an internship in the textile industry, but can't find anything for this year 2007, only 2008, so now for this summer i just need work! even if its just small erands in a company like getting the coffee haha!! :L

I would like to find something to do outdoors though too coz the weather is so great here!..maybe on a farm or something.(I am not afraid of hard work!) I am just willing to work, as long as my lack of german isn't a problem.(however in saying that i am also willing to improve on it). If anyone has any leads i would be very greatful.

hey Mini if you do not care of what you do just for the holiday i know some place in basel it is english medium day care surely you can get something from there just for holiday i also work there during holidays
