Hi everybody.

I've already been living in Geneva for more than 5 months, but I discovered this forum just a couple of days ago.
I come from lovely Greece and I was lucky enough to get a job abroad before we get kicked out of the EU.
So now I am working for an IT company in one of the Canton's villages while living in downtown Geneva. It's such a pity my office is not located somewhere by the lake (like most of my friends' who work for banks).

Anyway, since I've already been in Switzerland for a long time, I don't have many questions about basic things such as insurance or accommodation but still, you will hear a lot from me.

May I ask when I'll be able to edit my posts? I did a couple of quite embarrassing mistakes in my last one and I'd like to correct them.

It was obvious that I had to go above a threshold in order to get those controls, I just didn't know how many messages were needed.

Good, then may I give you a list of what I want you to correct in my posts?
I still can't do it on my own.

Really genuine embarassing mistakes can be flagged for the moderators to edit, stuff like phone numbers, addresses, lewd invitations, that kind of thing.

I doubt they'd be too chuffed about being invited to edit for spelling or grammar, though (although there are a couple of style issues they might help you with, should you stumble across them).

I think you earn editing rights after a week's membership, if I recall correctly. Not long to go now!
