new mam in Wollerau

I have just moved to Wollerau, SZ.
I had my daughter 2 months ago and now is staying at home.

I would very much like to meet some new mams, who are english-speaking and live in nearby.

Hello and welcome to the Forum

There are quite a few social activites which should appeal; have a look at the calendar (see menu bar) - perhaps there's something for you?

Alternatively, create a coffee-morning or lunch somewhere yourself; I recall there are quite a few in your area with a similar situation. Simply follow the icons on the calendar and plan an event - it's easy and the worst that can happen is there are no takers. Believe me, soon enough people will want to meet together.

Re- Wollerau and meeting other parentsI'm

Hi Everyone.

starting a new playgroup in Wollerau starting 15 August. It will be every Friday morning 9-11am and is for kids 0-4 accompanied by an adult. We'll have singing, a craft activity and morning tea is included for CHF10 per family. It's at Chinwag-Language and Culture Centre, (Fällmisstrasse 2a)opposite the Wollerau train station.

There is also a baby massage course for 3 sessions starting on the 19 August. And 'Bonnie Babies' which is to enhance your network by meeting other parents of babies aged 3-8months and have some fun with your baby. Not forgetting morning tea which is included. That's starting on 17 August.

Then there is a music group for 2 - 4 year olds called Silly Sausages but that will be in the future for you, if your baby is currently only 2 months!

I hope one of those things is of interest to you? I can also give you details of the Open Day if you like.

Have a lovely day.
Andrea

Re: new mam in Wollerau

Hey Andrea, sounds like you should pop up a post in the Commercial Events section! You'll get more takers if this is in there in its own thread than hiding in the Introductions section ... oh, and welcome to the EF, new people!

Re: new mam in Wollerau

Hi there

I am Irish and moved here in July of this year. I'm 7 months pregnant with my second baby. My Son goes to Kindergarden in Freienbach and so I pass through Wollerau every morning. If you want to meet up for a coffee some morning let me know as I am also keen to make new English speaking friends nearby.

There's also Little Angels in Wädenswil on Mon morns.

Plus Cheeky Chops in Wollerau on Fri morns.
