Actually my husband found this wonderful forum when we were preparing to move to switzerland.

I was searching the Internet for resources for learning Swiss German and I found a link to a sub-forum here. I found it very useful, found out about some really great aids to help me familiarize with Swiss German, and I liked the rest of the forum as well.

I am Swiss, my Better Half is American. We had problems with forest roaches in our home in rural Michigan, so I googled "forest roaches," and one of the first hits was a thread on the EF.

Glad I found the Forum. We didn't get any help concerning the roaches, by the way, but I found important info on all sorts of other things, and once in a while I can help other EF members too.
