I got told about the site by a friend in Munich, he'd come across it before and when he found out I was moving to Switzerland he knew i'd be glad of it!

This forum was featured in the wikipedia article on either Zürich or Switzerland. It seems to have been removed now, though.

Actively sought it out as I reasoned that the resourcefulness of your average Brit living abroad would ensure that something like this would exist as a support network in the country of choice.
It looks like a very good site & I hope to contribute to it as well as use it to try and realise my goal of moving my life to Switzerland.

i remember exactly, i've have had a crazy day with two swiss providers and one 2 non paying swiss customers. i typed something like "swiss dumbness" or something alike as i got home, to check if its was just me or more ex-pats were receiving their portion of swiss dumbness too. i stumbled upon the (still hot) "are the swiss racist?" thread. first page, first hit. i calmed down since then
