after an afternoon in a Zürich pub spent with two interesting englishforum members I decide to take their advice and register. Thanks you two, unfortunately I can't remember their names for the life of me
Anyhoo I've been living in Switzerland and on the German border for on 9 years now. After a relationship gone cool and then frigid, I am looking to meet like-minded people and thought I'd start with folks sharing my mother tongue. As an born-American now Swiss national, I'd be glad to help anyone with questions about integration and/or dis-integration as well as other pecularities of Swiss life (e.g. if you happen to be a puppy, stay out of Appenzell).
Personally I like good music (blues, hippy funk, old rock and some newer retro stuff), good people, lake water and conversation. I'm an easy-going ex-Californian upstate-NewYork Seattle-bound Utahn who has seen many sides of life in the rather short term here, and am always ready for the next step.
