Moving to Liechtenstein, From Dubai

Afternoon,
I am relocating from the Emirate of Dubai to the Principality of Liechtenstein and I am fairly full of questions about the area and the locale.
I am going to study an MSc in Architecture at the HochSchule and am looking forward to the change in the pace of life, hills, green things, cows, animals, cheese.
All advice welcome on any threads I may miss, such as places to live, importing cars to Liechtenstein would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time and keep up the good work on the forum.
Richter.

Welcome Richter

can't give much advice n importing cars, but search the forum and you'll find plenty.

I can see the southern tip of Liechtenstein from my office window, I can tell you it is pretty sleepy! Luckily, you are only an hour or so from Zurich which is slightly more lively.

Hi Richter

Welcome to the forum as well as to FL! Switzerland and Liechtenstein have a trade union, so for importing a car, the same rules as for Switzerland apply. For details, see this official website: http://www.ezv.admin.ch/zollinfo_pri...x.html?lang=en . The form that you'll have to fill in as you import a car will be this one here: http://www.ezv.admin.ch/zollinfo_pri...gpKfo&typ=.pdf. There is also another page that explains the procedure: http://switzerland.isyours.com/E/imm...importing.html. A full thread about this topic here: Importing a vehicle - car/campervan?

From my studio I can see about 90% of Liechtenstein. Richter, let me
know when you are local!
