My wife and I were born in Canada. We studied at the University of Basel (philosophy, Slavic languages) some 30 years ago. We have managed to retain our fluency in German over the years, and hope to return to Basel for a short visit in Mach 2010. Our mother language is English. Hoping to make contact with other German speakers. Also hoping for a break in the current dollar-Swiss franc dip.
