just a short hello from the two of us. We are a gay couple from San Francisco and we have been travelling around for the last two two years. After some creative time working on a new software product from our getaway in southern France, we've decided to plant some roots in Switzerland. Not sure where we'll be heading yet, either to Bern or Zurich to start a new life.
Cheers! Looking forward to meeting some of you on this forum.
A great welcome from me too, if you carry posting stuff of such quality as your contributions on the poverty and post office threads, you'll be some addition to this board.

I am think of moving to Zurich from Toronto because of a job offer..... I have Australian and British passport, but my partner of 7 months has Mexican passport and a Canadian Permanent Residency. He said he would come with me etc. Do you know where I could investigate the possibility of him coming? Can gay couples get any kind of assistance etc. Just thought I would ask....in case you know :-)
We are a gay couple in Basel. When you get settled look us up. I am from Atlanta and my partner is Swiss. We love San Fran. We married here in May so I am becoming a dual citizen now. Welcome. Zurich is much better than Bern. We love Basel small town but very open minded. Zurich has the gay scene which we are not too much in too any more. Cheers Barry
