young canadian

Hello all,

Well I have been living here for almost 2 years now and didn't know about this forum! It looks good though, and boy would it have helped me alot when I first arrived. I live just outside ZH kanton in Baden, where I work as an engineer.
Hope to meet some people through this! It can be difficult....

Re: young canadian

well just in case anyone checks this thread, I can add some information...

Kokanee is alive and well - they sponsor a hardcore mountain biking competition called "Crankworx".... if you can drop 10m on a mountain bike, then I'll buy you a Sask pak.
Kootenay is a better beer in my opinion, same brewery.
But Black Horse or Jockey Club would do me fine. Or a Lighthouse... thats as far east coast as west coast can get.

Re: young canadian

Yah guys, Kokanne is still alive and brewing. I personally prefer a Kokanee Gold, on tap. Great beer. My friend brought me a can of moosehead the other day, man was it awesome.

Hmm, clubs in Zürich. I like some of them, like the Hive for example. I guess you really should like progressive electronic music as that is the Züri specialty....otherwise I don't find them that cool.
the people though, my god, I think you could die in a Züri bar and not a single person would even bother to so much as glance at you. I've never seen such an anti-social nightlife culture...
