Hello everybody.I'm a new guy in town from South Africa.Have been leaving and working in Fribourg and Lausanne respectively for some years.Its now 2 weeks that I'm in Zurich 'n loving it, except for the headache of not being able to understand german well.
I would love to play some rugby(full contact or touch).Is there anybody out there who plays and possibly leaves near the kilchberg area??

Hey Mac, I've been here for only three weeks now so I'm not sure if I've earned enough points to say it yet...but welcome!

I'd be interested in a game of touch rugby, (that's as far as my fitness, or shameful lack of, will allow for the minute!), but I've only seen organised games in other cities on the forum

Have you found any good pubs to watch games on TV? Paddys on Sihlstrasse is the best I've found so far but I'm sure there are better...

Oh, and I'll be moving to Kilchberg soon too....how are you finding it there?

I've been here in Switzerland for a bit over a year now and I'm playing Rugby Union with the GZ Zürich Rugby (previously Rugby Club Zürich).

If you fancy coming along, we're playing this Sunday against Lausanne. Should be an interesting game... (They won the league last year!). We play at the Brunau pitch opposite Sihl City! Kick off at 14:00!

Each time I pass that pub I think to myself that it's gotta come see some games here! So it's great that you mentioned it.
I went to see if could play some touch rugby yesterday but there was no body at the play ground.Phoned up guy whose number appears on web.Said guys went away to play tournerment somewhere.So think it's lots of fun.Ll keep you posted once been there so you can come along!!!

Find kilchberg quiet nice except for my neighbour whom doesn't even let you breathe. If you do, he ll complain that you are making noise!!! Otherwise the scenary here is just breath taking.

Hey next time you go catch a game at paddys plz give me a shout!!
