Hi everybody,
I moved back to CH 18 months ago and...love it! After 35 years of the British climate, I am happy to be back among my family and the sunshine. I love Zurich and Zug and the area around them
The hardest thing for me has been all the officialdom..insurances/registering us, registering cars..re-registering when we moved again etc. etc..and I speak the language! However, the professionalism of the people here is excellent. A Swiss friend in GB once said to me that something which takes a day to organise in GB, takes an hour here! I have found that to be very true! Maybe we have been lucky.
My other half, who is British, has been finding a lot of (mostly) useful info, and reassurance, through the Forum. So thank you all for taking the time to put down your thoughts.

According to your definition of full cirlce, I have also come full circle.

I'd be interested to hear about your experience of your repatriation. Has it been a good one?

For me, it has taken some time to get acclimatised but now I am really glad to be back home.
