My name is Virginia, and I'm still in Southern California at the moment since I've just married my Swiss boyfriend and am waiting for visa approval. I'm hoping to arrive in Zurich next month, if the Swiss Consulate's estimate is accurate.

I'm happy to have discovered the English Forum. This is a really great group and I look forward to taking part and meeting people!

Hi Virginia, welcome (in advance) to Zurich! I just moved from Southern California as well - La Jolla- and I have to say that the weather is a little bit different but its not too bad. Zurich is a wonderful place and I am sure you will love it. Good luck with your move. Best.
