| Anyway, welcome to the forum, a place for funny and sometimes weird people | |

A bit like Brighton.
I lived in Brighton for 12 years before I moved to Switzerland. Worked for an airline catering company at Gatwick and got an internal management move to HQ at Zurich headoffice.
The key is having a job here to come to.
At present it is tough as many HR departments are openly giving preference to hiring Swiss over non-Swiss people. I'm sure that's illegal in the EU.
Another good thing to imporve your odds is being able to speak either German or French. Key employment sectors for Switzerland are Banking, Insurance, IT and Accounting. there may be others but these are the areas where you could find a job more easily in one of the big employers without being able to speak German or French.
You could try to get a winter job in a ski resort.
You won't get far if you come here looking for work with hope in your heart and some savings to live on.
Good luck,
Higgy Baby
