Hello everyone! My name is Faith. I've been in Zurich since August. I moved here from Atlanta, Georgia to join my Swiss fiance, who is now my husband.

I am a human resources specialist by profession, but an amateur musician at heart. I play a little piano and love to sing. I'm slowly learning German...I took a three month intensive course, however, akkusativ and dativ still make my head hurt! I am hopeful that it will eventually sink in.

Thanks to everyone for their informative posts! It is nice to know that there is a community of individuals out there willing to share their wealth of knowledge with the rest of us!

Personally I think the whole akkusativ and dativ stuff is a waste of time.

but piano, singing and amateur music, definitely need more of that here in Switzerland!
