Moving to Chur

We are moving to Chur after the Holidays and would like to meet some English speaking friends. My husband will be working all day and would love someone to hang out with!

All the Best,
Shawn

Re: Moving to Chur

Welcome to Switzerland and the forum! I am living in Basel but if you ever come up for a visit feel free to message me. Might be nice to visit Chur some day too! Good luck with the move. Where in the US are you coming from?

Hi there,

Me and my boyfriend are also moving to Zurich after the Holidays, we will be there around the 1st of February. As he will be working and not me as to start with, of course I would love to meet english speaking people.

Re: Moving to Chur

Welcome to the forum!

Not many EFers in the Chur area that I know of but were not too far away and we know a few Brits and Americans in the area. Maybe we should arrange a local get together. Failing that there are many EF events in the Zurich area which is not too far away by train

Hope you like snow 'cos it coming down heavily right now

Re: Moving to Chur

Hello there

I am new in Chur and would love to meet people, English-speakers and others! Specially because my partner works a lot and I don't work yet, so I have lots of free time... I am from Germany but fluent in English, because a part of my family is English-speaking. Is still anyone active on this thread?

Re: Moving to Chur

Hi there!

Oh that'd be so nice! We don't have kids (yet) but like kids, so bring yours along :-) We'll be in Chur most of the week-ends in February, what about meeting up for a walk in the snow, a coffee in the afternoon or for a dinner? I am not used to forums like this, how can we contact each other?
