Taking my cue from another longtime lurker, first time, um, introducerer...

I am Kendal and have used this wonderful forum for about 3 years now: 6 months before we moved to CH, and another 2 1/2 since we have been here.

We are American by birth, but for the past 13 or so years have been semi-planned, semi-accidental expats. We moved here as a family of 5 and are now a family of 7: myself, my husband, 3 kids born outside of Switzerland (an 11 1/2 year old boy born in the UK, a 9 year old girl born in NJ, USA and a 4 year old boy born in Bermuda), a little girl born at the Hirslanden in October 2009 and an Au pair from the Philippines.

We have lived in Erlenbach since July 2007, but will move to Witikon next month.

Witikon is a lovely area, and we're sadly looking at the possibility of needing to move away when our lease expires ...
