Hello everyone,

My partner and I (Marie and Joe) been in Lausanne for a couple of weeks now. We are finding Lausanne and the Swiss very nice and welcoming - the views in and around Lausanne in particular are amazing - the only thing I need to do now is get a job!

While I'm here I might as well mention that I said goodbye to my band in London and I'm keen to start something up over here again (I will also post this in the appropriate forum) so if anyone out there is into stoner rock/metal/folk/reggae I would love to start playing/writing/recording again.

I am interested in getting a band together.
I listened to your tunes on myspace and they have a nice feel to them but not very reggae man.

they are experiments where I was getting to know Garageband, I mostly used a keyboard but I can't really play one, I play guitar.

thanks for your reply - I must say I am intrigued by your tunes, they are certainly different. Not sure it's my sort of thing but they are defintely different and that is tres cool.

Yeah my stuff is not reggae, I was just saying I liked the genre, i really like it in fact, I have never wrote my own though although I learnt Bob Marley' Waiting In Vain, one of my favourites.

So would you be comfortable playing more rock stuff? I am keen to keep playing the stuff I have already wrote and write more. I would certainly be up for playing reggae stuff as well.

Do you know any recording studios here with rehearsal rooms to be hired out etc...?

Yes I like rock, well mainly Indie rock, my band played that when I was back in London but I have no samples I can easily place. I will research places to practice, I have one idea I'll check out.
