Sergneri here

Hello everyone,
First an apology for posting to the topics first then posting here but I'm catching on.
I'd like to complement you all for a very well run forum, navigation is very straight-forward.

My wife and I have lived in Neuchâtel for the last 10.5 years and really love Switzerland. I'm currently unemployed after working for an American company. The axe fell last August and we're examining our options, first of these is to try to find a new position in country, preferably in the Suisse Romande.

I have many interests (arts, politics, society to name a few) and find Switzerland a great place to pursue these. Living here supports both diversity and, at the same time, a base traditionalism.

It may seem baffling to some, but I'm now studying French and am enjoying the challenge. There never seemed to be time enough to pursue it properly while working. I now see why people think it is a beautiful language, difficult but ...

Cheers,
John
