new newbie

Hi everyone.

It's been along time since I've been a newbie in Swissyland...been here for almost 30 years now.

Born of American parents in GB
Grew up in S.F.
Went to college in Cincinnati
Did time in Pittsburgh (it's called <the first marriage>
Came to Basel to study for one year in 1977

Was a professional trumpet player (mostly Baroque)
Was then a professional conductor (music)
Was then a professional trombonist (for the insiders, I still have the Dominos pizza sign for my car)
Am now a Mac IT-Supporter (with excursions into the Windows and Linux worlds)
Am also a complete and total dog NUT!

Although this is not a spam, I will post my URL in case anyone is interested. Be warned: only complete and total dog NUTS should follow Luna's links.

greetings and happy sunday,

Buzz

Re: new newbie

Welcome Musical one.

Nice dog.

I am owned by a border collie called Hally. We forgot the dog proofing the house thing. Anyone seen my socks?

Re: new newbie

Boder Collie?

Quite special dogs, eh? While they've always facinated me, and we were really hoping to see some at work when we visited Scotland (southern Highlands) a couple of years ago, they are a little to "up" for my life-style on a permanent basis.

Our Luna knows 2 speeds:

stop - during which she's a dog-carpet
go - up for anything, the tastier the better.

A real sweety. Of course I've never met a dog that either I didn't like or didn't like me.

Hi Buzz, on your profile photo you have the look of Steve Jobs and the beard of The Woz I still regret sometimes that I've stopped to play trombone... Have a nice stay at the forum!
