Madge has no particular reputation at present
Hi there

Hi,

Thought I would introduce myself. Am moving to Zürich from Frankfurt in July and am interested in meeting up with other english (or German) speaking families. I have 2 boys aged 6 & 8 who are a bit nervous about moving schools (will go to swiss local school). Trying to be brave for them but am also a bit nervous especially having read some of the negative reviews about the swiss !!
Still house hunting if anyone knows of anything with 5 rooms (4 beds) for max. 5000 CHF ????

Hope to meet up with some of you once I arrive

Madge

Re: Hi there

This budget places you in at least the top 5% of spenders on rent, so I wouldnt worry too much about finding something in that price range.

Welcome anyhow!

Re: Hi there

Hi and welcome Madge. Keep an eye on the adverts for houses/apartments here on the forum as I have noticed a few adds recently for larger properties to rent.. Also, have you thought of looking in Adliswil area of Zürich for places to live? I have heard good things about the Swiss schools there and the large 'n' supportive ex-pat community.
