Italo-Brazilian moving from London to Zurich

Hi there,

A few days ago I found out that I will need to relocate from London to Zurich in June :-)

I have lived in Geneva before (and loved it) - but since I was working for the UN then, I did not have to deal with most of the Swiss bureaucracy.

So, now I have 1 month to find a flat, furnish it and get all the necessary insurances, and so on!

So, any advice will be mostly welcome :-)

Hi deeptichandoo,

Thank you so much for the kind offer - though I am don't mind so much, my partner has made it have clear that we have to live in Zurich - somewhat in a central Location :-/

However, I will need furniture and many bits and pieces... if you are selling anything - do let me know.

Many thanks,
L

I know, I have been warned - though I do have a place I can stay for a few weeks if I cannot find something in time.

Not looking for something too fancy - but a 2.5 to 3 room would do nicely...

ALso, would like make some friends here - I don't know many people in this part of the country, I have many friends in GVA. But only one or two who relocated around here after GVA.

Do you guys do get together?
