Just joined the forum. really appreciate all the advice - and reassurance - about schools etc.

My husband and 3 children are moving to Coppet in mid-June. I have put my 3 year old down on waiting lists in the local nurseries (am self-employed so need some work-time) and completed the registration for the village school in Coppet. REALLY hoping my 7 and 8 year old get into the local school - don't fancy them being bussed to the next village.....

I am pretty excited if daunted by the move. My main questions are:

1 - do you know of good language schools / teachers to get my kids to learn a little French before school starts?

2 - good websites for second-hand furniture and cars (after a used cheap 7 seater)?

3 - sites or suggestions for summer activities for the children, where they can start to make new friends?
