hello!

my name is marc lange, i am an american currently living in germany working for the schülerhilfe, where i am doing a practicum as an english tutor for a year. i have studied german, english and on the side asian religion and philosophy and french. i am looking to become CELTA certified, so that i will be able to follow my other half to switzerland, who's a phd student and will be possibly doing a post doc in basel or geneva.

ich kann fast perfectes deutsch sprechen, schrieben, lesen usw..... lern gerade für das kleine deutsche sprachdiplom. je parle un petit de francais aussi. ik spreek en begrijp bisgen nederlande.

i love to learn new languages, teaching people language, to travel, meeting new people, going to new places. I have lived in california, washington state, north dakota (uni of), texas, minnesota, marburg (ger) (also went to the uni there), ulm (ger), münsterland, essen (ger) and am currently in mülheim an der ruhr. (approx 3 years in germany) please note, not a military child, a railroad child!

i guess i am here to find out some info and make a few connections if possible!
