May be you can register the vehicle in switzerland... and then you will have better chances of selling it. If not I suggest taking it back to UK. But even in UK selling a 4X4 will be not easy. Good luck with your sale anyway |

we don't want to try to register it here as we are currently putting another one of our cars through this long winded and expensive process.
I don't have the time to take it back to the uk, so it would be easier to sell it here, hence the price, its the bargain of the century.
there must be someone out there who is returning to the uk soon who needs a car?? even if you bought it, and sold it as soon as you got back to the uk you'd make a profit.

well quite, these fetch around 3k in the uk, the stereo etc is worth around 1k so if you can be bothered you can make yourself around 2k gbp.
We moved ALL our gear from the uk to swizerland in this car, wardrobes etc all fitted inside or on the roofrack and its been faultless all the time we have owned it, it really hacks me off that it looks like its worth more as scrap then as a complete 100% working reliable car, its a mad world.

There are 2 reasons it's not selling here:
It's RHD.
It's not swiss registered, so the buyer would have to go through all that rigmarole of testing, changing lights.. and probably paying some VAT.

Well within a couple of hours of going on ebay a uk DEALER has bought it and is flying out to collect it, so much for hard times overhere when people turn there noses up at a genuine bargain and the chance to make some quick easy money. Bet the people who messed me around will be kicking themselves now | |
