This hybrid bike has many brand new parts (e.g., chain, cassette, shifters, derailleurs, wheels), plus some parts that were on previous bikes (e.g., frame, fork, saddle). I've built it up as an efficient and reasonably light (10.5 kg) hybrid bike that is quite versatile. It would be ideal for zipping around town on, but would also be fine for going on longer trips. The tyres are 32mm, so narrow enough to be efficient, but wide enough to give some comfort and some confidence on light trails. The frame is aluminum (7005), the fork has carbon legs that should reduce road buzz but is still very strong.

The frame size is 58cm (center of BB to top of seat tube), with a 58cm top-tube (center to center, the stem is 110 mm). It should suit someone at least 5 feet 10 inches (178 cm) tall. The frame has some cosmetic marks / scratches on it that do not affect it functionally (the frame is aluminum, so it won't rust).

The frame has clearance for much wider tires if preferred. There are attachment points for mudguards/fenders front and back, plus front and rear racks, so it could make a great commuting machine. The yellow wheel rims make it look striking, and I've chosen a few other components to have yellow graphics to match (handlebars and saddle).

The gearing is 27-speed, with a very wide range that includes some decent low gears (11-32 9-speed cassette, plus 30-39-50 chainrings). The shifters are SRAM's twist / gripshifts. The brakes are V-brakes.
