Since when have you been the regsitered keeper?

When was it registered in Switzerland?

How many previous owners?

How many miles have you covered in it?

Re: Porsche boxster for sale [Geneva]

shhhhh don't tell my OH - he had to sell his when we moved here - not too good on snow in mountains (his only true folly - male menopause I think!) - but bless him, he deserved it and truly enjoyed it for the 3 years he had one.

Re: Porsche boxster for sale [Geneva]

I've sort of 'grown out' of fast cars- but if I had to have one again, it would be a TR6 - like the one I used to drive and hill-race in the late 60s (the one I learnt to drive in was a TR4 - loved it, but very heavy).

Re: Porsche boxster for sale [Geneva]

Out of interest, do you have a ball park figure for how much it would cost to register in Switzerland (given that the majority of your audience are based here )

you'd have the import duty for a start, then you'd need to check if the swiss version had a different ecu or emmisions to the german version, hopefully a porsche dealer here or close to the border would be able to tell you.

Also worth stating if it has the extended warantee as the boxster engines do have a bit of a reputation.

I'm guessing this will be a Glasses Guide type valuation based on the year, mileage etc.. or is it based on the new price

for us it was based on the swiss value of the car, not what we paid for it. The customs office searched for similar cars on autoscount and picked the highest priced one

That's not good. I showed the bill of sale and the ebay finish price and they were happy with that. If it was based on the Swiss price I would've had to pay much more than twice that.

Re: Porsche boxster for sale [Geneva]

yes, indeed, when I registered my car (no import tax as it was part of the move) there were 2 other blokes at the zollamt, and they were asked for a kaufvertrag, which would list the price.

Hi,
What would be your absolute bottom cash price if I were to potentially buy it on Monday?
