Am in Basel for a few months with my 19 month old twins (boy/girl) and we were unable to bring too many toys with us. I would really like a tea set or play kitchen things or similar for them so I can encourage imaginary play. I am happy to buy second hand or even better take them on load for a few months (that way if you are holding on to stuff for a young sibling who isn't ready to play with those things just yet, you can still get them back by the end of the year). We will be leaving in mid November (my husband cannot stay working beyond then) so can definitely return things then or earlier if needed.

Google "Basel + Ludothek" and it will give you the nearest toy library. For a small fee, you can rent toys out and bring them back when you are done.

de ludothek is a verz good idea and otherwise i have lots for very small prices, including kitchen and teaset etc as we are leaving in one week

we are near winterthur, easz to reach by both train and car
