There have been a number of threads recently with people selling second hand baby clothes but sadly they have been for little boys I found out yesterday that I am expecting a little girl and wondered if anyone had anything they wouldn't mind selling to a good home . Getting all the things required for a baby is pretty expensive so I'm keen to save money where I can especially when babies grow so fast

Please PM me with a link for photo's or a suitable time when I can come by and have a look at your things. I am in Basel but am willing to pay postage if you are not based here. Sadly, as I am so busy at the moment, I am unable to travel to Zurich/Zug etc. to look at items.

At what week can they tell you what the sex is? My next scan is at 22 weeks. With my son they couldn't tell because he was posterior. All we saw was butt.

You can never know for sure - and I've had a few friends that were told the wrong sex.

I'm 21 weeks and apparently they could see clearly she was a girl. She was too shy to show her face though and kept putting her arms in front of it rather than let us see her. Not like her mummy at all

I'm hoping for a girl and am now 18 weeks. This baby is bigger and moves more, so finger crossed, but i'm still waiting for a bump. I know i'm going to spend too much on clothes if it is a girl.

Are you on the Swiss swap and shop Yahoo group? Someone was selling girl's clothes recently.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Mine is a little wriggler too although I am yet to feel proper full on kicks! I hadn't heard of swiss swap so will check this site out. Thanks very much

have zou tried also the Caritas shop? I think there is one in Wediekon that specialises only in kids clothes.

Also try ebay. I know a friend who bought a whole box of baby stuff for less than 20chf.

Don't you ladies organise Clothes Xchange parties here??
