FULLTIME, for new Beatle-ish band (with really GREAT! new original music, in many genres, after fulltime working "coverband" phase [just like the early Beatles!]). And designed to SUBTLY help & improve people (OK, demonstrate that they can do so themselves!) from the inside out ... also like the Beatles! Think: "Imagine" ....!

Must be charismatic, somehow good looking, young-seeming, INTELLIGENT, and also a bit Enlightened with Ego well under control. Must be potentially free to travel fulltime for several years, with NO "attachments"! We already have many years of experience singing/playing with world-famous bands & artists, and MANY super USA music-biz contacts; Zürich-based for now

Are you sure you're not really looking for a GIRLFRIEND?

As with any successful band or business venture, we need to be friends. Period.

Friends when she is having her period?...what is that joke about potting the brown after the red?
Just out of curiosity, do you have any of your songs up online that can be listened too?

Although I don't mind occasionally entertaining small talk, if you really wish to make a barroom chat or whatever, please start another thread.

In the meantime, sorry to be somewhat of a bore with the distraction of the original (and ONLY) subject of this thread >

We have found and tried MANY. Most from Berlin, over-filled with neuroses and/or impractical "artsy" stuff (Berlin is great for frustrated artists > I have played with some world-famous bands, and the stars as well as back-up bands were all "normal" and sane, more in the George Clooney than Loony Tunes direction!). One or two "crazy Americans". Quite a few others married with kids (I don't wish that life on kids, even for a few years!).

Am waiting for a Brazilian finishing her exams in Berlin to come down, and several others I have "put in the wings" for the time being. But no one who strikes me as an Enlightened version of Paul or John (or even Ringo, who turned out nice!). Except me, and I plan to stay a bit on the side, like George!

If you meet the other requirements, I have been told I am the best voice-coach in EU. That is NOT a "come on", but we need straight-ahead singing, like the Beatles, with no vocal acrobatics, and such a non-style requires only diligence, etc. If everyone has not figured this out by now, the singing requirement in the EASY part. Being dedicated to help fix the humans (and thus the rest of the "animals") and being a good, somewhat Enlightened person able to WORK (& travel!) full time, focused on this band/project (necessary to get some songs on the international charts) is the hard part.

You are an American & you keep quoting The Beatles in relation to your group (which you have no links for) & you would like to have a female singer who sings like them I just can't fathom this, btw I really have worked with famous musicians... But I would never boast about it, whoops, I just did

Re: Seeking female singer who could be on MTV but can live without it.

Well, I was going to send you a link to a Mexican singer friend but she's quite artsy so that won't work for you.

I don't know why you are against women singers who had kids. There are plenty of artist who have kids, men & women. If they are good, isn't it up to them to work out how to manage their family life?

I've never even met anyone famous, but I don't like to brag.

Good luck & do send us the link to your band. We love discover new (to us) music/artists.

Not that it matters, and this comment is intended for most of the above responders, not specifically AbFab, I not only think but observe that you folks seem very silly. And included in that silliness is deciding that I am boasting if I mention some things that many other people might not have done. I have in fact been the subject of long big-city newspaper feature articles, been frequently interviewed on TV, and have in fact performed with some well-known acts. And generated some billions of dollars with some of my own silliness (a very SMALL portion of which went/comes to silly me).

Luckily for me, and future audiences, I do seem to have now found some likely accomplices. Despite YOUR silliness. And disagreement. You see, your ongoing comments have kept this thread visible. As the Vikings said (in old Danish): "There is nothing so bad that it is not good for something".
So, THANK YOU!

b.t.w., the "ad" denotes "female" NOT "girl" singers! I am not that silly ....!

Re: Seeking female singer who could be on MTV but can live without it.

I am sure you will find somebody who wants to be famous and does not mind playing covers and sounding like Beatles.

We were pretty big back home, but I can't remember any of us really wanting to be, it was part of the charm. Cash one gets doing music does not really tell how good the music is, nor does the number of fans, it may say how popular the group wants to be, the biz of it, etc etc. I still like doing music too much to buy into this...pardon my French...crap. But as you describe it, it is a biz venture. There are people who have talent for this and don't mind using their musical and artistic talent for this. I don't mean to snub you, I wish you a lot of luck. But the ads are a little weird sounding. This is not US, people have different values. The American talent might be big on TV, but I actually do not know anyone who would seriously answer your ad the way you are "hiring". You might think we are silly, we might think you are.

Now. Go do your scales. I will do mine. uhm....or cook, hahaha, and take care of my kiddo, and watch a chick flick while playing with the strings and trying to pull of some frustrating Minutemen tune. You would seriously hate having somebody like me to work with.
