PE teacher Oct-Feb 2012-2013

I work as a PE teacher at a Bilingual Primary School in Zurich and want to take some time off next year. Do you know of any PE teachers that would be interested in this short- term substitute position from the Autumn holidays until the February Sport holidays (21 October-8 February)? If so, please let me know. I can't take leave if I haven't found anyone...

should have taken PE as a teaching subject and not history or business...

do they need to know german? i have an australian friend back home who could fill in...but he would need a visa

Yes you will need to know a bit of German (basic) but you teach and converse with everyone in English. Unfortunately the school won't get you a visa. It's a really cute little school with nice staff and children...

would they employ a person with a swiss passport who speaks basic german and has a degree in teaching in a history field to cover PE?

Swiss passport- yes
Basic german-yes
History background I could definately forward your CV on, could you send it to me?

Position still here! Here is some further info.... You need a teaching degree, preferably in PE\Sport. It is teaching 60% PE and ESL ( English as a second language) 25%. Teaching grades 1-6...
