Possible one-off Copywriting Job (final decision not mine though)

A friend of mine offered me a one-off job to pick up some copywriting which I assume will be for a website or websites. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I turned it down because I need to spend my time worrying about my job and my German classes right now. I did tell him I would get back to him with alternatives. I do have friends who also copywrite but since EF has been so good to me...

I don't have specs on size or number of words etc yet, but it would either be French to English or Frenchified English to Copywritten English. I don't think it is a huge gig though and I have asked him for more details so I could have a better shot at passing it on. Dude is in CH so any financial transaction for the work would be CH to CH.

Like I said, it isn't my decision to make, but if any of you are copywriters on here and have done website stuff before and would be interested in a small assignment, I thought I would throw it out there before I went back to him with my people to call. I risk to be turning down more of the same in the next few weeks/months as well, as copywriting has been my side project but I need to focus on other things for a few months. I'm not crowdsourcing EF and calling it a network, I promise PM me if you could be interested.

Re: Possible one-off Copywriting Job (final decision not mine though)

I looked up Copywriting on Wikipaedia and read these paragraphs below. Would this describe the job offer?

Copywriting is the use of words and ideas to promote a person, business, opinion or idea. Although the word copy may be applied to any content intended for printing (as in the body of a newspaper article or book), the term copywriter is generally limited to promotional situations, regardless of the medium (as in advertisements for print, television, radio or other media). The word copywriting is regularly used as a noun or gerund.
The purpose of marketing copy, or promotional text, is to persuade the reader, listener or viewer to act—for example, to buy a product or subscribe to a certain viewpoint.
Copywriters (as writers of copy are called) are used to help create direct mail pieces, taglines, jingle lyrics, web page content (although if the purpose is not ultimately promotional, its author might prefer to be called a content writer), online ads, e-mail and other Internet content, television or radio commercial scripts, press releases, white papers, catalogs, billboards, brochures, postcards, sales letters, and other marketing communications media. It can also appear in social media content including blog posts, tweets, and social-networking site posts.
Content writing on websites may include among its objectives the achievement of higher rankings in search engines. Known as "organic" search engine optimization (SEO), this practice involves the strategic placement and repetition of keywords and keyword phrases on web pages, writing in a manner that human readers would consider normal.

Yes, this is roughly what it is. I think there is a bit of content management as well, but don't have all the details.
