For an idea
This order will be 8 boxes of a maximum of 30kg per box. Size can't tell since we use different boxes and are taping boxes together.
I have discussed it with my colleague and we think it is better to put everything on a pallet.
We have pallets of 1m/1.2m(block pallet) and pallets of 1m/1m (euro pallet) (don't know if u charge different prices for block pallets and euro pallets)
The total weight of a pallet will be 500kg
Hope that helps with info

| | | Bringing in products from Germany to Switzerland - How to do?
Hi guys, I'm trying to make an order of some nutritional supplements from a wholesaler in Germany.
They only ship to EU countries so can't and won't ship to Switzerland for me, leaving it to me to organize.
I just contacted FEDEX and they will do it for around 1300 EUROS but they require the INVOICE and also SHIPPERS EXPORT DECLARATION. The wholesaler will give the invoice but they say it's the transport companies job to have the shippers export declaration paper.
I asked them how their other clients from outside EU take stuff from them and they said to me -
"All our clients from Switzerland let us ship the order near to the border and then they are picking it up themselves so unfortunately i don't have a client who can help you with this."
Can someone help me with understanding what I have to do and how?
It's a big package with a total worth of around 4000 CHF and weighing in total 120kg. Just so you know.
Any help would be appreciated

I know you are setting up your own business, and I am peeved that you don't know how to run it. Why can't you find the information yourself? Imports into switzerland
There are people who import stuff for a living, they are called import / export agents, or forwarding agents, in German "Spedition" companies. http://yellow.local.ch/en/q/Basel-St....html?rid=ZWhW http://yellow.local.ch/en/d/Basel/40...t+%28Canton%29
You need to go to your nearest large border crossing and employ one of the companies working there. There is a minefield of tariffs and forms, you need experience or help to overcome this.

I use http://www.las-burg.de . They also accept pallets up to 1 ton, so 120kg is no big deal. Just pay attention that only their location in Grenzstraße 19 ( http://www.las-burg.de/grenzstrasse/) accepts large shipments.

1300 euros for 120KG? That's a small part of one pallet and almost any haulage company would deliver this for a lot less than 200.00. And the supplier has to have a signed declaration on the invoice to prove that the goods originated in the EU (or not as is the case), they provide the invoice so they are effectively the exporter. Seriously, speak to an import agent and get them to handle it for you.

| | | Need professional courier - pick up large order from Holland, deliver to Switzerland
I need someone to pick up an order from Netherlands and Deliver to Switzerland.
It is an order of nutrition supplements - eg. protein. All legel don't worry, products that are coming from the USA.
It consists of 1 pallet, 450kg. The dimensions are 1m/1.2m/1.7m
It's the first time I'm investing in something like so, so I need someone "professional" who can handle the paperwork for me also and bring it into Switzerland.
It comes from a ZIP CODE in holland as 7825 GA EMMEN and needs to be delivered to Biel 2504
Can anyone interested contact me via PM or reply here please - with price/quote for this. This may turn into something regular if it turns out as I plan.
Thanks

| | | Looking for Import Delivery Company - don't know what to look for in Google
HI guys, I need to bring some products over from Netherlands.
The big company's like TNT or UPS are too expensive.
And I don't know what type of other company I'm supposed to contact for doing this for me. I want them to take care also of import paperwork etc for their given fee.
I have no idea what to type in Google to find what I'm looking for or if anyone knows a recommended company.
Need them to take goods from Netherlands, bring to Switzerland and take care of all paperwork for me.
Anyone know what I have to look for or type into Google?
Thanks

Well it's a big order and pretty heavy. This will be a regular thing I will be doing, once a month roughly.
