My husband and I are planning to go to the UK for Chrismas and New Year and we were planning on taking our cat with us, but due to circumstances beyond our control, it is now not possible to take her. Unfortunately, due to her absolute dislike of other cats, we cannot leave her in a cattery which has left us in a pickle as we now need someone to look after her for this period.

Our cat's name is Willow. She is a Siamese and is 17 month old. She is very playful in the morning and evening, and pretty much sleeps throughout the rest of the day. She loves the attention of humans and is affectionate; she follows people from room to room, just to be near them. Rather than being a total lap cat, she prefers to sit on the shoulders of people. Also, she is very well house trained and does not scratch furniture.

We are looking for someone in the Montreux - Vevey region (or as far up to Geneva) to look after Willow for the Chistmas period (dates to be confirmed, but likely from the 23/12 to 02/01). As Willow is currently a house cat, someone in an apartment would be preferable. Also Willow does not like other cats and has very little experience with dogs and children, so ideally, the cat sitter will have neither.

We will happily pay for someone to look after her for this time.

Hello~ I'm a student studying at EPFL, and I plan to stay in Lausanne throughout this christmas/new year holiday. I live in a student residence with 6 flatmates, but they will all be away during this time. I would love a company like Willow through this period! I never had a cat but I have grown up having lots of animals around me. The concierge in our residence has a dog in his room, so I guess it's ok to have a well trained cat for a few days.
