We are looking for a nanny, or an au pair to help care for our two 9 wk old twin girls in Basel.

We have just moved from the UK to Basel, and we are an English/American/Italian couple, who speak English (as a first language) and French, German and Italian, and would welcome someone who spoke any of these languages.

Experience with young babies is a must. We would be happy with either live in or live out. The role would include helping with feeding, changing, bathing, settling and getting out with the babies, as well as light household help - with their laundry, bottles, etc. I am a full-time mum but need an extra set of hands.

The role is to start as soon as possible - do get in touch if you have the relevant experience - either for a short term, or long term position.

I will be in Basel from Sunday 24th January. I am a mature woman with 2 grown up sons and have worked as a nanny/housekeeper over the years for several families. I have a great sense of humour and adore children of all ages. I am reliable, organised and very hardworking. I'm a Swiss kindergarten teacher with the Proficiency Certificate of Cambridge and have been working at the International School of Basel (as a pre-school teacher) and as a nanny in many families with children of any age.

I'd love to help you with your twins as I adore babies and prefer to look after children that I know from their early age. As a nanny I looked after babies from the age of 3 month, but I keep on saying that I grew up with even younger babies in my arms. :-)

I'm currently looking for a new position because I moved from Bern back to Basel. Basel is my home town and I therefore know it very well and could tell you all the good places to go as a mum.
