New Jersey/New York attorney seeking work in Zurich

Hello all! Thanks to everyone who has shared such great information on this forum, it's been a huge help since moving to Zurich.

I graduated from New York Law School in 2003 and worked as an attorney in New Jersey until 2006, when my husband was transferred from New York to Zurich. Prior to moving here, I worked in the areas of defense litigation, plaintiff personal injury and plaintiff medical malpractice. I have just now finally secured an L Permit (which expires at the end of July [LONG story I'm sure many of you can relate to!] but is being renewed by my husband's employer) and am wondering if anyone has any advice on positions that might be available to me in Zurich that would utilize my law background. I only speak English at this point, although I will be enrolling in German courses now that I will be in Zurich continuously. I appreciate that my knowledge of US law may be of little use here, so I am more than willing to work on a temporary basis, work part time and/or work in administrative/secretarial positions.

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom!

you might find one of the multinationals would be able to use your skills - you're not limited to just ambulance-chasing cases though, right?

Haha! I haven't heard that one in a while being out of the states...they're not quite as litigious over here, are they?! That's a good thing! No, not just an ambulance chaser, I actually worked in the legal field for many years before law school in other areas, so that's definitely not my focus, just where a good opportunity presented itself! Thanks for the feedback!
