Professional Nanny available from March 2011
Dear families and children
I am currently looking for a full time / 80% nanny position in the areas of ZUG-ZURICH (withing 20 km from Aristau). I just finished a position with a lovely family that sadly has being relocated in New York city. I have been involved indirectly on child education and child development from an early age as my mother; sister and auntie are/were all primary teachers for children with special needs. I have chosen this field of work because I have experienced from early age how rewarding to work with children is and how much fun it can be. I have been sole charge nanny to children from new born to 12 years old. I am seeking a position where I can stay with the family for a long period of time and utilise my various talents and skills at the same time I can keep improving them. I have attained Early Years care and Education NVQ 2, Maternity nanny training and Baby Care for Nannies at MNT in Reading University; Paediatric First Aid certificate, and Cambridge Advance English. I also have studies in Nutrition. I am currently studying German language but still basic. I describe myself as an active nanny; I do enjoy arranging the social calendar of my charges and I always try to have a good network of nanny/mothers. I like to take the children to swimming, walks in the park, and other outdoor activities from a very early age. I have been involved with music classes, toddler groups and activities of all kinds depending on parent’s wishes. I am rather creative person, who loves do some drawing, painting, reading stories and actively encouraging the children to participate in educational activities from an early age. I will cover all nursery duties, I have been doing children’s washing and ironing, keeping toys neatly stored, washed and in safe working order. I also cook for the children; I have a good understanding of the nutritional needs of babies and toddlers, ensuring a diet to suit each age group, introducing fresh vegetables and fruit, based always in the parent’s wishes. I have been living and working as a nanny in different countries for the last 10 years. I am currently married and live close to Zug in Switzerland. My previous employers describe me as bright, fun and energetic young lady, with a friendly and open personality, furthermore completely loyal, trustworthy, caring and flexible.
