We are currently looking to fill a part time helpdesk role (temp) that has been created due a member of staff reducing their hours in order to attend further education.

The main working days are fixed to Monday and Tuesday but additional hours / days may be possible. The role is shift based so you would alternate on a weekly basis between two shifts that begin at 7.30am and 10.00am.

The main duties include

• Support of internal clients via telephone and at their desktop
• Support of internal clients that are travelling or working in remote locations
• Installation and configuration of Windows systems
• General IT trouble shooting and fault analysis
• System and operational monitoring

Qualifications / work experience

• English both written and spoken, German is a distinct advantage but not critical
• Good communication skills with the ability to deal with clients at all levels.
• Completion of an IT apprenticeship / degree, or a commercial apprenticeship combined with further education in IT
• Two years IT based work experience
• Good general knowledge of PC and Laptop hardware (HP).
• Good knowledge of Windows 2000, XP and Microsoft office products
• MCP / MCSE advantageous

We are a global company operating in the financial sector; this role is based in the Zürich Seefeld area. The office is 30 seconds from the lake and 2 minutes from the nearest tram station.
