Hello,
I am a native English speaker from the west coast of the United States. I have a university degree in performing and directing theatre. My goal is to help your child or children get a head start and have fun while learning a second language. My husband's latest assignment brought use to Zurich so currently I am working at two small theaters during the evening and on Fridays for a family with two children; a boy age three and a girl age five. Every day we have fun and every day we see that they are retaining and learning more.

More than a director I see myself as a teacher, a guider, and someone who helps open doors. I believe that the most important gifts we can give our children are a high self esteem, a strong voice and knowledge. My method is to play, sing dance and use every opportunity inside of a submersion framework to teach English and maintain a positive atmosphere.

Six months ago I was working with children in Cambodia (2 groups of 40 ages 5-13) using art as a source of experimentation, empowerment and a platform for learning English (it is necessary for them to pass an English exam in order to attend University in Cambodia). I have also taught movement workshops, promoting good self-esteem, in England's elementary schools (ages 7-9). Before attending University I taught dance to toddlers (ages 3-4) and middle school girls (ages11-14).

I was really glad to see your ad on english forum. I'm looking for a teacher to teach my two kids from November. I'm presently in St Louis, MO and will be moving to Vevey, Switzerland soon. I do want to know about the curriculum you will follow to teach them. I was looking into homeschooling curriculum K 12, but i'm not sure if I'm allowed to home school. I might have to send them to public school and my kids don not know any French. So please let me know your thoughts, and also if you can let me know about your tuition fee it'll be much appreciated.
