Hi - one of my ex students, from Romandie, is thinking of going to live in Manchester. She has just finished a Bachelor's Degree in languages, and has spent 1 year in Berlin and 1 in Newcastle. Lived/studied in Manchester for a year. Don't have many contacts there besides a few professors in the School of Environment and Development at the uni. Happy to answer any other questions although my attitude may be a bit negatively biased...
