Native American English Speaker with English/Journalism Background

I know of a good opportunity in Basel for someone who is a native (American) English speaker (or a native English speaker with native-level American English spelling, grammar, etc.), with a degree - or a lot of experience - in Journalism, English or Communications. It is a full time position, with a bit of pressure and dealing with corporate executives.

PM me if you want more details.

Wow. I didn't realize there was a demand for this. Which language: Navajo? Cherokee? Cheyenne? Cherokee?

Fecious, anyone?

I meant just that. A person whose native language is American English. Not a Native American who speaks English, not a person who speaks a Native American language from one of the tribes.

We don't have "mother tongues" (that's a rather obscene sounding phrase, actually) in the US.

Fecious = noun, Shelley when she forgets to check her spelling before posting.

Re: Native American English Speaker with English/Journalism Background

So a native Brit would be ok, as long as they have been trained to misspell words?

Are these executives just too uncomfortable with reading non-American English? I once wrote a report for an American company - then they objected to my spelling of "fibre". The report was for internal use only, intended for a very small audience. I invited them to build a bridge and get over it.
