Hi there

I'm a 27 year old German woman looking for a nanny position in the Zurich area. I have a degree comparable to a bachelor in social pedagogics (diploma) and I've worked as an au pair/ nanny for the most part of the last 4 years.

My last position ended 2 weeks ago and was with a family near Zurich. They have a (by now) almost 4 year old daughter. Over the last 15 months I've cared for her and started to teach her German with great success (the family is American). Before that I had a 3-month-position in Australia caring for a 1.5 year old girl. And before that I worked as an Au Pair in a family near Albany (NY) in the US. They have two Autistic children (a girl of 4 years and a boy of 6 years) and I worked with both of them. I also attended 2 Autism Workshops (ABA/ VB) and have quite some knowledge about Autism and ABA therapy.

I'm generally interested in working with mentally imaired children, but I'd also be happy to work for a family with normally developing children. I'm looking for a live-out position that will last at least 1 year. If you are looking for a qualified nanny for your children or you know somebody who does please contact me. That does sound very interesting to me, but unfortunatly it's too far away for me. I live near Zurich (Glattpark) and I wouldn't be able to commute to Schaffhausen. The post you replied to is quite old and I'm a mom myself now taking care of my own child and working as a Tagesmutter. Thank you for your post though...
