Re: early childhood education

There are some English speaking nurseries as well as plenty of international schools in Switzerland. The demand isn't so high is what I think, but there are definitely possibilities for English speakers. Good luck

Look out for opportunities here, but be aware that for jobs in English and bilingual preschools, you'll be competing with native English speakers: http://liliput.ch/

Re: early childhood education

Most bilingual and international schools require you to be a mother tongue English speaker. The other issue might be your diploma, preschools tend to have a qualified teacher, trainees and apprentices who are doing their training. I assume your early year diploma is the equivalent to a nursery nurse or early childhood worker qualification.

hopla, didn't know that my future preschool teaching license would only be equivalent to a nursery nurse or childhood worker qualification. I just hope that my time and money investment here will be useful in CH, on top of my diploma, I have a bachelor degree in communication, but I was thinking for a career change. Let see whether they will appreciate it or not.
