looking in Bern

I am a US/CH dual citizen along with my wife and 11 yo daughter. We would love to move to Bern or Lausanne. We do not speak German nor French, although I have studied both in the past and have a rudimentary familiarity with swiss german. My daughter has quite a good level of achievement with german, having attended Steiner schools all her life.
That said, I have been a goldsmith 25 years, but not for the last ten. I was a computer tech for 7 of the last 10 and a real estate sales agent for the last three. I have also acted and modeled both for commercial ads and figure artists. My wife writes corporate training and e-learning along with real estate sales as well.
Is it a pipe dream to think that we could transplant ourselves to any where in CH? We are fed up with what's happening here in the states. Any suggestions on how to begin?
Thanks,
Bruce

Re: looking in Bern

With Swiss citizenship you at least stand to be hired. It is EXTREMELY difficult for US citizens. If you are thinking of trying, do not mention your weaknesses in languages (only ever talk about strengths) and state upfront if in fact you do have the right to work here. Be very clear in your mission and committed to making the move and sticking around.

Have fun, whatever you do!
