Kitty has no particular reputation at present
I'm Kitty from Paris. I really want to move to Switzerland !

Hi everyone,

A friend who is going to settle down in Zurich in January suggested me to chat on this forum. This is my first posting and I'am hoping to benefit from it. Thanks in advance.

Here's my story. My objective is to find a job as an International buyer in Switzerland.
I'm French, I speak English and my level in German is rapidly perfectible.

I'm looking for :
1/ either a rewards or incentive manager 's job in the area of Geneva or Zurich
2/ or a Purchasing Manager in consumer goods in a big Department store (tableware, decoration, children fashion or game...)
For the last 9 years, I have been working in Marketing as a Purchasing Manager in various fields.
I have gained great experience in Marketing especially in the purchasing of incentive gifts for large international sales teams. My creative approach and eagerness to find new ideas was greatly appreciated at Tupperware. I have also developed an extensive network with many suppliers in relation to potential rewards.
If you hear of such a position coming up within your company, I would be very interested.

I wish you all the best for the new year.

Kitty

Hi Kitty,

Welcome.

Try searching in the jobs section of this forum for the urls of job agencies and check out what they have. You probably have a chance at Nestle and a few other producers. Furthermore you might need some qualifications such as a university degree to get in at the moment. Post May it is not such an issue.

Richard
